July 10th, 2001. Hey all. It has been some time since I've updated the site..but here are some updates. Maren has/will be traveling to New Brunswick, Utah, Idaho, and back to Calgary in the next month or so, see tour.
Congrats to Maren for being nominated for four Pearl Awards in the following categories: Contemporary Recording, Contemporary Album, Female Vocalist, New Artist of the Year. Awards will be presented in Salt Lake City on July 13th, WAY TO GO MAREN!!
June 2nd, 2001. Updated the tour section...Maren will be in Edmonton for a bit after her visit out east. New additions to the Lyrics section: backgrounds to Perfect, Sarah, All I Want, Swallow, Beautiful, and Harsh words. Also, a new archive page was created on the suggestion of Fade (Thanx). The link is at the bottom of the page.
I saw a sneak preview of Maren's latest video 'All I Want' - it is awesome!! We'll see if I can get it in the video section soon! Watch for it!

May 14th, 2001. Maren is done filming her new video for 'All I Want'. She will be doing various events in Toronto, London, Barrie, Ottawa, and Montreal these next few days. Sorry for such short notice, I just got this info yesterday! Check the messageboard! Paul and I attended Maren's private concert hosted by Power 92 - it rocked! We have pics/video - the worx. I have been ultra busy this past while (I still am), and hope to get some good stuff done in a week or so.... Thanks for your emails and posts..hope to reply soon! (WG)
April 30th, 2001. Maren is in Edmonton for a Power 92 private concert on May 8th. I've updated the bio section to include lyrics. Maren will be giving me info on some of the songs soon, so I will add that as it comes. Chords may follow!


July 10th, 2001.

Maren's video for 'All I Want' was on medium-heavy rotation at MuchMusic. Maren is doing some shows in NB, Canada, and also in Utah and Idaho.

May 24th, 2001.

Maren is finished filming her new video in Toronto after spending time in Ontario, Quebec, and Saskatchewan. Keep your eyes open for her video release next month.

April 22nd, 2001.

Maren is in L.A., and working out the details for her upcoming video for 'All I want'. She is performing in Southern Alberta on April 26th and 27th. See TOUR for details

Maren also is planning a trip to Ontario and Quebec some time in May. Plans to tour some of the western USA is in the works.


March 30th, 2001.

Maren has announced her plans to make a video for her single 'Sarah' after she performs in southern California with 'Colors'. The video is expected to be done by the end of April.

March 13th, 2001.

Maren performed at a Mix96 (local Edmonton radio station) private concert on March 9th. She is in Vancouver, after spending a couple of days in L.A. meeting with Capitol Records people.

Maren will perform at Harry Ainlay Composite High School (Edmonton, AB) this friday (March 16th) at 7:00 pm as part of a benefit concert.

February 21st, 2001.

Maren's album release was yesterday, Feb 20th. Maren appeared on A- Channel's BIG BREAKFAST, and Power 92's SURVIVOR. Congrats Maren on your Canadian release of "Waiting"!

February 13th, 2001.

Kick off party for Maren Ord's "Waiting" launch on Saturday Feb 24th at A&B sound (3110 Calgary Trail South) in Edmonton, @ 2:00pm. Maren will sing some of her music, and visit with fans. You don't want to miss this one.

Watch and listen for other events on Power 92 and A-Channel (local Edmonton Radio and TV stations).

January 21st, 2001.

Official Canadian "Waiting" launch will be Feb 20th, 2001.

January 2nd, 2001.

Maren has released her first album "Waiting" through Highway Records on November 7th, 2000.

Maren to release her first album "Waiting" in Canada through Nettwerk Records in Febraury 20th, 2001.

Maren to release her first album "Waiting" in USA/International through EMI/Capitol Records in summer of 2001.
